TCM is running Harold Lloyd films all day tomorrow - so get the VCRs
ready. Here's hoping that this time they show the restored version of
THE MILKY WAY and not the PD version.

That was SO last week. This week we're on Dennis's case because he's such a
fibber about Prince Achmed.

Gee, I thought it was because someone claimed I dry-cleaned Jesus. (Well, I
suppose you'd HAVE to because he'd just walk on the wet stuff, wouldn't he?)

So not true. He's a "fluff and fold" messiah.

And next week we can trash Kino for this ad:

"The Back to School Sale

Take 25 - 30% off selected "must-see" classics through September 31st. "

Someone certainly needs to go back to school...

Better to boycott them for hiring that Monkeybitch clod -- he's living proof

Yes, it was a new version, with a new logo preceding the opening. I
just compared the first five minutes of today's version against what
was shown in April.

The image is a lot better, although it is still not perfect in
contrast. It's noticeably better and makes it easier to enjoy the film.
The sound is about the same, not noticeably better to me.
