Please Help Me Re Buying the Mutuals!

Can you guys/gals please help me? I have the 1970s old Blackhawk VHS set of
Charlie's Mutuals, which I bought as a kid. I would like to upgrade them,
particularly regarding the video quality. However, I also love the old Van
Buren scores that were added to them (and which my old Blackhawks have).

I just rented Mr. Shepard's Mutual DVDs, and while I LOVE the work he did on
the pictorial quality, I must confess that I still prefer the old Van Buren
scores.

So, ideally, I would like to purchase a set from the 1980s or 1990s that
combines Mr. Shepards pictorial restoration, while keeping the old Van Buren
scores as well. Are there any such items out there? I have seen advertised
two sets: one from the 1980s called "Charlie Chaplin: The Early Years," in
3 tapes; and another, from Kino in the 1990s, called "Charlie Chaplin At
Mutual," also in 3 tapes.

Can any of you please tell me if either of these two sets would have what I
am looking for: Mr. Shepard's restored pictorial quality with the old van
Buren scores?

I would appreciate any insight any of you could give me. Thank you!!!

The Kinos have the van Buren scores, including some obnoxious sound effects.
The visual quality is not up to laser or DVD, but if you want the van Buren
scores, they're about the best you can get.
