I've been looking for one particular issue of Motion Picture Classic since
2004, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can get hold of a
copy -- July, 1927. I've seen the microfilm version but I need pictures out
of it and for that the microfilm just isn't good enough. Is there some
reason that MPC is harder to find than other magazines, or is it just this
issue for some reason? Any thoughts appreciated (as I have so few).

I found a copy of June 1927 available online. I'm assuming you've
been trying ebay? Might just try contacting sellers on ebay and
asking if they have it. Also might check with the guy at Sunrise
Silents, he's been putting scanned magazines on to CD-rom and he might
have a copy of it lurking awaiting scanning.

I wonder, was MPC more expensive than Photoplay or Motion Picture (due
to it's being oversize)?

Another place to check might be Periodyssey, they might have it.

Thanks. I've emailed those sellers. I don't know about the price but it's
more than a minior size difference.

I've been watching Ebay for this one but can never find it. Hmmm, if you
have a copy, there are just three pages I need scanned (for the photos)...
24-25, 75. Hint, hint!
