Hi Nath
Thanks for the input. I am resetting my greyscale using a home made optical
comparator and my copy of Video Essentials but am unable to get red to an
acceptable level at the drive end to achieve the proper grey or 'white'. I
have to push green and blue to the extent that I will never achieve D65 at
the present level of red. Frustrating! As a last resort I have even tried
reducing RCUT to zero.
This helps slightly with the 'white' and mid greys but still leaves my
blacks sepia!
It looks as though I will have to compromise and try and achieve a non D65
setting for my greyscale. Still, anything would be better than the
'greenscale' the set came set up with. Maybe that's why it came like that
in order to null the red bias!
