The holiday rush to the cineplex is in full swing here. They were lined up
well down the sidewalk at the place I usually go. It was so crowded, I
turned around and left. The theater is not going to miss my business. I'll
bet all the movies showing locally did good business today.

Quite a few people at the showing of Fun With Dick and Jane we went to
yesterday. FIDaJ was forgettable but the trailer to "Mel Gibson's
Apocalypto" was a hoot. "Mel Gibson's Apocalypto"--the contest for the
worst film title ever is now closed.

Whenever there's a long line at the theatres I go to its because
they've only got 3 people selling tickets even thought they're set up
to sell from 8 different registers.
