Doesn't matter what the trailer says. The movie "Fargo" claimed to be
based on true events also but it wasn't. The producers put that bit in

The odd part here was that he was watching it in a hotel, and missed
the start. He only saw that after the movie (with its final credits
and ending disclaimer) ended, and re-started from the start. Then he
