ID a movie....help?

Is it in colour or black and white? I remewrbe seeing one that started
like that but it was in black and white , its one that my freinds got
on tape, i cant remerber wot its called but its quite old i think.

Thanks guys I think this one was color, maybe a 70's movie....I will check

I checked out the superstition trailer, looks pretty cool, but it's not the
one I meant :-) I think I have to see it though, thanks :-)

This doesn't help, but it did remind me of one of my favorite episodes
of the TV show "Thriller." All the village people had gathered around
this woman being burned at the stake. She was accused of witchcraft.
The people were screaming "burrrrrrrrn, burrrrrrrn as the flames grew
intense. AS the flames were about to fully engulf her the woman put
a curse on the prosecutor, and all those who testified against her. The
curse went beyond the people directly involved, but to all their
descendants as well. Apparently she WAS a witch because
the curse worked quite well. Each descendant died young, and
all were aware of the centuries old curse. In the end, our hero
got rid of the curse when he freed a young maiden named Beatrice
Mervin who was trapped in a picture at the time of the original
curse. I can't remember why she was there. I can't remember if
the episode was something like "Last of the Mervins," or "La Strega"
or something like that (may even be two different episodes.)

The witch burning at the stake while the villagers look
on, and the witch making a last minute curse on those who
watched had become a cliché, but they were still scary.

Im sure that the one that im thinking of wasent called any of those 2
names, i,ll hav to ask my freind when i see him wot its called, it was
about witchraft and it was a old balck and white movie, some woman went
to a out of the way creepy place cos a proffessor at her uni told her
to go there and there was a creepy guest house sort of place, i
reemebrer ppl dancing and then when this woman goes out to join them,
[cos she could hear them from her room and they were all there when she
1st looked out] but when she went out to join them, there was nobody
there, i remerber that bit cos i thought how creepy it was, but i dont
rererebr much about the rest of it even tho it wasent that long ago
that i saw it, it seemed quite good but i wasent realy concentrateing
on it that much cos we were talking.
