Is there a service menu for the Sony KV-28LS35U TV, and if so, how is it
accessed?

the normal sony method is to hold the channel (or volume) up and down
buttons on the front of the set and turn the power on.

TT should be on screen, the press the menu button on the remote - and
usually select 'demo' and then come out of it again.
