Kasey Rogers, 80, an actress who was a regular on television but was
best known for her role in Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train,
(1951)" died July 6 in Los Angeles of a stroke.

Using the name Laura Elliott, she played Farley Granger's estranged
wife, Miriam Joyce Haines, who is strangled by the psychotic character
in the film. On television, Rogers appeared in numerous series,
including "Wanted: Dead or Alive,"Bat
Masterson,"Cheyenne,"Maverick,"Perry Mason,"77 Sunset Strip,"Adam-12"
and "Bewitched.
