Just a quick reminder for those in the Los Angeles area, tonight at the
Egyptian, 7:30pm, a screening of The Kid & a mutual (don't remember
which one) and a then and now presentation by Silent Traces author John
Bengtson. Hope to see some of you there.

It was a great evening, though The Fireman isn't one of my favorites.
The music was great too. I was bummed at first that The Kid wouldn't
be shown with the Chaplin score, but I ended up liking this score a
lot and wouldn't mind having it as an alternate on a future DVD of The
Kid. (Not likely, I know.)

Nice to see some AMS/AMC folks there too.

Fred

PS: Did anyone else notic that these films were shot much better than
City Lights and all the films that followed it?

Just kidding.
