Last month I purchased the Buster Keaton 11 DVD set from Deep Discount DVD.com
during their 20% off sale. It was backordered about a week and the reason given
was new price. I thought I was getting a bargain @ $111 for the set but I wish
I had waited. It is now retailing for $99.98 regular price. I also noticed
that a lot of other Kino titles have new prices ready to ship July 18. Prices
are much cheaper than Amazon for the same titles.

Thanks for the tip, I can use 50% off Kino. DDD.com is supposed to
e-mail me when they have a special but barely get the 20% notice to me
on time. It's also extremely rare that they ever include pre-orders.
Time to go shopping.

I did not know that DeepDiscountDVD was having a sale and ordered two
Kino titles, YOM YOM and DEVARIM, from them at DDD's regular price and
they were so much less than Kino was charging, that I was wondering if
they were dupes! My order for the Kino titles was shipped promptly, but
the order for an MGM title has been backordered.

Earl.

That's funny. I got the 20% notice almost every day during the sale last month.
Perhaps your spam filter was blocking the emails.
