Has anybody had any experience with this Home Cinema setup?! I'm looking at
buying a cheap system to replace the one in my spare room thats developed a
rather annoying hum from the amp/sub. Would anyone recommend these over the
Acoustic Solutions DS1033?! I prefer the Acoustics because they come with
speaker stands so won't have to faff about with wall mounting them.... as
will be the case with the LG's, but I'm not sure about the colour... as
everything else in that room is beech and silver!! So, provided the
Acoustics are indeed good value for money and better than the LG setup, then
I could be tempted with that.... decisions decisions!

TIA

Danny

I got them in Argos. I had intended to get the cheaper Acoustics Set (with
stands retails around eur150) but whilst I had "rung & reserved" they
couldnīt (after an hour) find them. So after discussion I persuaded the
manager to give me free speaker stands if I bought the LG instead.

Iīm very pleased with it so far. I havenīt given it any majorly loud test
runs but it works nicely and provides crisp clear sound. Having a variety of
inputs is also handy - the dvd player goes digital coax and the
tv/satellites go via analog.

What other inputs does it have?

Inputs are: coax digital, optical digital and RCA (?) phono for analog.
