Not at all!

Humour is different from anon insulting.
Besides which, my email address is valid.
I am anything *but* anonymous in usenet.

Why don't you piss off?

How predictable. :P

As is mine.

Here's the thing though Adam...

That's the way you see the resolution of the *dilemma*.. and that's fine,
s'your prerogative..

BUT...

On the other side of that same point is the opinion that it takes no effort
to simply ignore those posts you don't like.

After all... As I've said before... We're hardly snowed under here. And it's
not as if the *participants* are never involved in *topic* conversations.

In fact... THIS thread could no doubt be labelled OT as well!!

But who's definition of *improve* do you use?
Y'see, to *me*, *improving* the NG would be stopping all the stupid petty
squabbling and realising that this group, whether we like it or not, is
really only kept alive BY the OT that is posted here. Alien is a VERY old
movie. There is little new to say about it.

Yes, there is a new movie coming out, but, come on, you KNOW we've gone over
and over the same things time and again.

To me *improving* the NG would mean everyone joining in with discussion and
even *chat*.. like a wee community with a love of the alien movies in
common.

Aaaddaaaammm....

Not ignored.
Y'see, *I* thought the rest of my post encompassed that.

I know that.
And I thought it was plain that, whereas I can agree with you in principle,
it's not actually worth it cos of the low post rate in here.

Like I said... agree in principle. But don't think it's worthwhile getting
bent out of shape about.

Amazing, I agree with Cov. Who would have thought? :)

And I think AvP might stir up the pot some as well. :P
