Hello there.

I wondered how it is possible that a simple sharkfin antenna from
lectro does +/- 300 ( 250 Euro ) dollar in the US, and about 500 Euro
( 600 dollar excluding VAT ) in the Netherlands.

Magic ?

Oh, and by the way, this story abouit the European Market and Lead
soldering..any idea ?

Kinda funny, I heard through the grapevine that this guy gets his antennas
in Europe (or has them made in Europe).

Another relevant question would be in this case, for how much they
leave the factory.. ( my guess is between 50 <> 90 US )

I think from memory, the lectro systems sell here (Australia) for 50-60%
premium on US prices, after the exchange rate.

According to Posthorn Recording, the current US Schoeps prices are:

CMC6 - $669
MK41 - $782
CUT1 - $535
GVC - $262
10dB or 20dB Pad - $208
