I'm thinking about putting an LM transmitter (block 26) in my
Portabrace AO bag that also has 411a's (blocks 25 and 21) to be used as
an IFB transmitter to R1a's. Does anyone have any real world experience
to offer on a set up like this? Do you think the LM might interfere
with the receivers?

I'll leave real world experience to the "real worlders" but I would
suggest setting the LM frequency(s) as far away from the 411
frequencies as possible (4 Mhz+). Also, the antennas of the
transmitter(s) and receivers should be separated as much as can be
done, given that it is all in a bag. An extra few inches can make
large difference. To test the setup, check your 411's range with the
transmitter on and with it off. If range seems about the same, you
are in good shape.

Sounds like even though it's likely to be fine with good frequency
seperation as well as physical distance in the bag I might do better to
spend the extra few hundred on a UM400 with the added circulator (and
twice the power). Thanks again for the input. One other thing if you
are able - any further information on supplying 401's? I spoke with a
retailer yesterday who said they were still on hold.

Hi Scott,
They have been off hold for right at a week and have made their way
through test and QC. Wes (production manager) says they are shipping
today. There is a long pipeline that needs to be filled, so don't
pester your suffering dealer more than normal.
