Post subject: Does "License to Wed" look like the century's worst?
Another horrifying Robin Williams schticky movie, recycling his stuff
that was old in 1988. Lame Catholic jokes that were old in 1971.
Stupid pratfalls and labored robot baby jokes. This looks like what
would be playing in Hades Stadium Cinema 14. Has any trailer been more
off-putting?

BoF doesn't look "Chuck & Larry"-level bad, but still looked like an old
script originally written for a pre-Kong, post-"School of Rock" Jack
Black that couldn't afford him now, and had to make do with the closest
approximation they could find...

Personally I thought the Underdog trailer looked pretty cute. I saw it
in front of
Pirates 3 and thought it was funny.

The thing is, yeah, this is a Disney movie, so of course it's going to
be primarily aimed at
kids and families and stuff, so it isn't going to be solely for the
hardcore fans of the original series.
That doesn't mean it's not going to be good, nor that it won't be
respectful of the original material. I think it
could surprise people with how fun it is!
