Lois maxwell died yesterday, she played Miss Moneypenny in the James
Bond films for years and years. ( she was James Bonds boss's secretary
amd she had a major crush on Bond...)

Anyway, there are a few fun Rocky Horror/ James Bond coincidences,
always fun to mention. There are not many, but they are cute. Are
there any other Bond/RHPS fans out there that know if any more?

1) In " On Her Majesties Secret Service" when Bond gets married, Miss
Moneypenny says " I always cry at weddings " ( which is of course said
in Rocky Horror )

2) When the secret service's mechanical expert, Q, shows Bond his
latest car ( it comes with machine guns and an oil slick and such),
the car has multiple rotating licence plates...one of the plates is
4711 ( Franks leg tattoo).

3) Charles Grey ( Narrator from RHPS) plays Bonds arch nemisis Ernst
Blofeld...not much of a coincedence, but both characters are very much
the same, both smoke out of cigerette holders, and Charles Grey is in
drag for a scene in "Diamonds Are Forever".

4) In the comedy " Casino Royale " a very young Richard O' Brien is a
stunt man and rides a horse as a cowboy during the big fight scene at
the end.

5) Parts of the comedy "Casino Royale" were flmed at Oakley Court.

Okay, its not much but its kinda cute. Bye all.

Bill

Are you sure Ritz is in "Casino Royale"?? I've never heard of that one...

And do you know which parts of it were filmed at Oakley Court? The only
scene that comes to mind is the dinner scene at the Scottish castle, but
that doesn't look a thing like the Oakley Court dining room...

"Bill, Unkie Bill, hey buddy you cant sleep here move it along, etc"
