Question: London Film Festival?

I have never been to a film festival, before. Regarding the upcoming
London Film Festival (Oct 22 - Nov 3, 2005), does anyone know if any of
the actors show up, especially if some of the films have already
premiered in Toronto?

....or, do the actors usually JUST turn up at the very first premiere
(e.g. Toronto, Cannes, etc.)

What is the, "track record," for actors appearing at film festivals in
London?
