Where can the UK version be ordered ? Or would it be better to wait for the
US release ?

You have 2 options right now.

If you want good transfer, good sound. Picture sound synced correctly
you'll need a multi-region DVD player. Below DVDs.

New french 2 Disc Limited edition set. Try amazon.fr or some other
sites. I've done research and this seems to be the best one and it has
good special features.

There's going to be another 2 Disc edition of the movie coming out in
Feburary from the UK.

Also, there's been rumors of an Australian special-edition from Roadshow
Entertainment. (Especially since the recent release of Fire Walk With Me
seems to be identical to the British and French releases.)

However, DVDBeaver has a comparison which reveals that the new transfer is
not all that great. Certainly not 'bad,' just not particularly good.

What about playing it on the computer? As far as I know the DVD drive can
play any region.
