Post subject: Max J. Rosenberg

He was one of the early founders/producers for Amicus productions.
I saw "Asylum" on DVD the other day. He was on one of the
featurettes. I'm not certain of this, but this guy had to be the
model for the Crypt Keeper of "Tales From The Crypt" fame;
one of his productions. He looked like he was pretty near
death (he died in 2004). He could have had a role in many
of his pictures w/o any heavy makeup.

The DVD has as its stories writer, Robert Black. I wonder if
this is some kind of Freudian slip for the type of stories. It
should have read the great Robert Bloch.

Muyst be a mistake. I was friends with Bob, and he indeed did write
ASYLUM. I think it was his first screenplay for Amicus actually, though
he did several for them.

It is indeed a mistake. The mistake is only on the DVD package. The actual
movie credits are correct.
