I watched a little bit of "Modern Times" on TCM, and thought the soundtrack was
pitched a little high. It didn't sound the same as when I saw it theatrically
or watched the VHS issue.

Is this the way it's supposed to sound? Or is it a mistake?

Funny though -- if the track *is* a little sharp it would give me a chance to
utilize my fancy-ass buttons on my Daewoo multi-region DVD player that allow me
to adjust the pitch... :)

country to danger."

The R1 DVDs have been transferred from the PAL masters, so they run
about 6% too fast.
