I just saw a real good indie flick called Outsourced (http://
outsourcedthemovie.com/) anyone else caught it? It was produced by
Shadowcatcher Entertainment and directed by John Jeffcoat. They just
don't make movies like that anymore, the kind where the story isn't
told with big flashy effects, but isn't a stereotypical "chick flick"
or "buddy film" either. It's one of those "this is what movies are
supposed to be like" movies... they're supposed to leave you feeling
uplifted, emotionally involved... or just involved, I guess - not just
be a mindless distracting piece of entertainment. I see a lot of
independent films, but they seem to all be controversial and offensive
these days, as if indie is a synonym for "edgy".
