Pls help ID movie, more info incl ending

More info from my brother:

Sinister figure appears in photos of disasters and evil dating back as far
as the photographic art goes, civil war, Hitler's speeches, Nixon's
watergate scandal, etc.
Nazi hunter figures out figure is satan. End of movie has Nazi hunter and
friends shoving satan into kiln/oven in basement, where satan turns the
tables and escapes.

Hey I was way off, I just read the beginning about the kid finding the nazi
guy

All that stuff about Satan didnt happen in Apt Pupil, I am off. The dude was
just your run of the mill Concentration camp Nazi.
