No, I don't mean trash like "Dawn of the Scooby Dead 2004", and not
classic Romero-ish movies, either, but rather films that deal with
Voodoo, Santeria, "zombification" as a cultural phenomenon, etc...
Films such as "The Serpent and the Rainbow", "The Ritual" (and its
inspiration, "I Walked With a Zombie"), "The Believers", "White
Zombie"... are there any other titles of this kind, worth
recommendation? (I loathed "Angel Heart", that's why I'm not including
it here) >> Stay informed about: Recommendable zombie/Voodoo films? |

Well, then there is the follow-up to "White Zombie", "Revolt of the
Zombies" from 1936 which isn't very good but worth a watch if you're
interested in this subgenre, and some of the 1940's productions like
"King of the Zombies" and "Revenge of the Zombies". And of course the
excellent Hammer movie from 1966, "The Plague of the Zombies", which has
already been mentioned.

"Versus" is really cool, if you don't mind subtitles. It's a Japanese
flick.
