Recently I viewed a splendid American doco film from biography channel
"Ho Chominh Vietnam Egnima". It states that Ho,when living in Paris in
1917, was writing reviews of silent films for French publications. I
wish that I could get further information but I do not have french
language skills. Can anyone help?

It's true, but I don't know that anyone has ever tracked down one of
Ho's reviews and seen what he thought of, say, Chaplin or Intolerance.
