Of course she is tough - she is part alien. She "cries" because she's
killing her 'family', just as the alien queen 'cried' when Ripley burnt
her eggs.

i know shes a dif person which is why i dont like it.

they should have Ripley 8 at the beginning of the movie caught in a kind of a
hideous transformation that makes her look like one of those more developed
other Ripley clones or something more hideous. It could be like Cronenberg's
The Fly all the way through as she slowly transforms more and more into a
biomechanoid and there are a group of explorers sent out into deep space on
information given to them by Ripley, about the planet where the alien creatures
come from and well there they find this strange planetoid that appears to be
one giant ruin left behind from a prehistoric inter-galactic war
