Does it matter if it isnt important to others - we each have our individual
favourite or curious moments to do with the Alien series??

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, folks. I'm not a huge connesuier
(whatever) of this movie let alone the series... I think Alien 3 is kind of
slow and boring, and I've never even seen Resurrection (but Aliens is
AWESOME). I was just wondering why everyone is asking if this line is in the
DC?

surely it is important because quoting it helps to differentiate the scene
in question from the many other scenes in the film. :-p

I was just wondering if they included it and how they edited it if they
did..when I had the ALIEN laserdisc special edition, I edited it in right
after KANE leaves the sleep chamber and then back to the breakfast scene.

Not everyone is asking, just Brian! And just cos he is asking doesnt
necessarily mean its important to the whole newsgroup - Brian is asking a
question and is expecting somebody to answer in a mature and concise
manner - *if* they know the answer.

Its not in the DC. The scene was discarded, amongst other things,
because of the colour scheme. The yellowy Aztec/Egyptian idea was
junked and the mess repainted so I take it for continuity reasons it
went. This is alluded to on the legacy documentary.

Thanks! I kind of wish I never got rid of the laser disc version..it was
truly one of the first, good "special" laserdiscs.
