The Rounders features several scenes of Charlie and Fatty Arbuckle
entering and exiting an apartment building with a sign in the lower
left frame that seems to say

"XXXX Arms
Apartments"

The missing word is not too lengthy. I am trying to locate the
apartment building, but have reached a dead end.

My DVD copy may be less clear than a 16 mm print. Does anyone have a
print they can scan to see if they can make out the missing word?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I looked at the film on the Slapstick Encyclopedia DVD and couldn't see the
sign. Perhaps my TV scans out the edge of the frame. Is it on that brass
plaque on the lower left?

Hi Rob - yes, the sign is on the brass plaque. Unfortunately the
reflection covers up the critical first word. I've already checked
out several "____" Arms apartments, but none of them fit. There is a
decent chance the apartment still exisits. John
