Film in the Fog, the Film Society and the Presidio Trust's annual free
outdoor movie extravaganza is back this Saturday, September 29 with
the 1950s monster movie classic, Creature from the Black Lagoon. The
free, all-ages screening takes place on the lawn of the Main Post
Theater (99 Moraga Ave. at Montgomery Street) here in the Presidio.
Come stake out your spot on the lawn starting at 5 pm, when the
SuperSonic Saxes start playing and the historic Main Post Theatre
opens for self-guided tours. Food and beverages provided by Dish Cafe
and Acre Cafe will be available for purchase, and there will, of
course, be free popcorn. Did we mention the screening is free?
