Salish Lodge evacuated for fire

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. -- About 75 guests at the Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie were
safely evacuated after fire broke out overnight in the restaurant.
They waited about two hours in the parking lot before they were allowed back
in their rooms.
Witnesses saw flames coming from the chimney and sparks spread to the roof.
Firefighters contained the fire to the restaurant area. No one was hurt.
The hotel is open but the restaurant is closed for now.
