Hello all!

I just wanted to check in with our Rocky family and let everyone know
that we are doing ok. Some of the cast has been evacuated by
approaching fires, and I know that one of our regulars has lost her
family's home. But we are all safe, and other than breathing nasty
smokey air and having skies that look like armageddon, we're doing
good.

Our theater was near a voluntary evacuation zone, but is not in any
real danger, for now. If the winds pick back up, however, it is
anyone's guess which way it will spread.

Please keep sending good thoughs our way; and of course everyone in
Southern California right now.

Wow, feel the love for SD here...

I don't believe there were any large fires buring Orange County, where
MI lives. I also don't think that any of the Sinners lived close to
the Malibu fires, I haven't heard anything about them being in
danger.

I'm watching the news as often as I can. I hope others will "check in"
soon.

If any fires are heading towards any Curry Houses, I'll be there in a
heartbeat to help put it out!! We don't have any decent Japanese curry
here....

Hi Gayle .. we're doing okay. I imagine we're keeping a low profile,
since the fires thus far haven't really affected us. San Diego has
been hit really hard, so I am glad to hear CI folks are doing okay.

Around here ... well, most of the Los Angeles area fires are pretty
far away from us (Malibu, Magic Mountain, etc.) I'm not "up" on the
latest on those fires, but I have not heard any bad news from the
other LA-area casts. Mostly, I think we're just dealing with smoke
and ash ... certainly better than the alternative!!
