Has anyone used this partucular capsule on location? What purpose and
situation do you find it works best? Purchased as part of a package,
not sure what I can do with it / use it for... Haven't field tested it,
Wondering if it can be suitable for use as an overhead like the mk41
would be. Will my sound be too thin? unusable? Can't decide if I should
bring on my upcoming trip. Any input is appreciated.

only for close speech , the capsule compensate proximity effect and has very
hard curve on the low end
really don't sounds nice from the distance

where it can work ? if you looking for good hand held mic for a on the
street interviews it would work well , also can work in some application
for stereo fx where the figure of 8 can compensate something in the low end
..

It's good for a podium prop mic (appropriately dressed, of course) or
musical performance, voice over etc. Not a good choice for overhead
boom work. I know of one mixer who likes it for cars but the actors
have to be in a relatively fixed postion (ie no wild head swings).
