I read somewhere online that the Classic Media DVD of Godzilla, King of the
Monsters was somewhat better that the Scimitar version. Any truth to that?

Thanks!

BTW - The article also said that the rest of the CM discs are awful.

The Classic Media KOTM disc uses the same composite video master as the
Simitar "fullscreen" side (KOTM was not a widescreen film), but with far
superior MPEG encoding (no big blocky pixelization), and better conversion
to component (less "rainbow" effects on fine detail patterns, like suits and
tree branches).
