Archived from groups: rec>video>production, others (more info?)

I am new to DV filmmaking. I would like to join a local independent
filmmakers group here in Dallas, Texas. I would like to be able to
exchange ideas, attend shooting and post production sessions. Can
anyone suggest such a group here in Dallas, Texas.
