Hi all,
I have posted a production sound resume site (my first), and I'm
looking for feedback about the site itself. This is a work in progress,
and any critical comments regarding clarity, usability, overall
impression, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Also, please pass along
any advice from those of you who have maintained sites for yourselves.
There are email links on the site.
Thanks for your time.

Ben,

Just my two cents... skip the intro page, it is not clear what the
viewer should do next. The page after that is clear and well laid out.
If the purpose of a site like yours is to generate business- let the
facts come out fast and first. My page does not have animation of other
distractions-- and I have had people thank me for that.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I will incorporate many of them in
a future revision of the site. I am still soliciting more feedback,
which people have been graciously sending via the email links on the
site:
www.blowry.com
Any thoughts?

Oops! I thought I had sent my reply, but scanning the thread, I guess I
didn't. My apologies for the faux pas. Here's the basic scoop:
Over-the-shoulder Cantar, 8 Lectro 411 Rx (w/ 8 bodypacks), Lectro IFB
to 4 Rx, 2 (L&R) hops to 2 cams (Panasonic SDX900), jammed sync box.
This is one crew. There is also one other. I agree now with the
decision to go with the Cantar, tho I am struggling to learn it
quickly! Any other Cantar users feel free to chime in with advice...
Thanks again,
ben
(I am cross-posting this note to the original Cantar vs. 744T vs. Deva,
etc. thread.)
