I have a question in regards to set etiquette.
You've been hired by a production coordinator that you've never met.
You go to the set without the opportunity to meet the Director/DP/AD
etc...
How do you find key personnel that you need to speak with asap without
asking anyone who comes your way?
Should you find the production coordinator and ask for an
introduction??

yes, you do ask the coordinator AND shake hands with the Ad(s) and ask
them who's who.. Are you going to be a PA?
if so, take a small notebook with a pen , dress in comfortable dark
colored clothes, and comfortable shoes.. and speak less than you
listen..

You just ask... its really simple. You start first by saying Hi im
"insert name here" and im the "insert job title".

If you're looking for someone specific ask where you might find them.

there's no reason not to ask.
