Boca cops trying to ID Charlie Chaplin look-a-like who robbed bank

BOCA RATON - Police are trying to identify a Charlie Chaplin
look-alike who robbed a Bank of America branch on Feb. 10.

The suspect, who is estimated to be in his 60s and tried to disguise
his looks with a yellow floppy hat and a black painted-on mustache,
walked into the branch at 21060 St. Andrews Blvd. around 2:30 p.m. that
Friday.

A teller said he walked up to her station and passed her a note that
demanded cash. The teller stuffed money - all she had in her cash
drawer -- into the envelope and handed it back. The bandit fled. No one
was injured.

If you recognize the man in the image to the right, please contact Boca
Raton police Detective James Giumenta at 561-338-1303.

They must mean a Groucho look-alike.
