Shelves FILLED with leftwing DVDs

I took a glance at the latest DVD offerings, essentially movies
released to the theatre 5 months to a year ago. What a pack
of leftwing propaganda! Jarhead, Merchant of War, Good Night and Good
Luck, The Constant Gardener, as examples.
I think Hollywood is going backward,
they seem to think there's some groundswell of leftist feeling out
there and there isn't. The fizzled "world wide" demonstrations
against the Iraq war (well, actually against America) are pretty
much proof of that. The average person is still an avid capitalist, a
consumer who enjoys the FREEDOM capitalism
provides. Yet we are flooded with movies espousing everything
from isolationism to Marxist economic theory. Does Hollywood
REALLY want to go down the tubes that badly by alienating its
CUSTOMERS (oh, what a dirty word THAT is!)?

But the "people" who run Hollywood are clever and sneaky.
They can dress-up Marxism to look like just about anything,
action films, cartoons (get 'em when they're young), dramas.
So sometimes the message isn't right in your face, but it is
there. So are the people in Hollywood really determined to forego
making as much money as they can (their usual goal, given the
feeble-minded junk they like to produce when they DO want to make
money) just to promote their personal leftist ideologies? We'll see.

What Hollywood needs is what any animal species needs when they find
themselves stuck in "neutral." They need a "die-off." The old guard,
mostly originating (them and their parents) from 1900th and early 20th
century Eastern European backgrounds needs to be dilluted or
phased-out. They need to be replaced with fresher thinkers, adept at
movie-making, who are interested in making the movies more diverse and
interesting. Who will not only use the box office as a pulpit to
promote socialist agendas. Its not American, and it isn't
really wanted.
