Why is it people like the idea of some wastral drug addict who might
kick the habit?
People who are any good don't BECOME scumbag drug addicts to begin
with. Only Hollywood seems to think someone who has lead a wasted life
until their 30s is suddenly deserving to live because they "turned it
around."
