Documentary about the making of the classic sci-fi horror, Alien. Featuring an
introduction from director Danny Boyle, plus interviews with Ridley Scott and
Sigourney Weaver, the programme explores the film's cinematic legacy and the

I just looked in my copy of Radio Times and it lists a movie called
'Random Encounter' at that time.
Has the documentary been rescheduled?

Okay, well what you are looking at is Random Encounter being on Saturday night
to Sunday morning rather than Saturday morning which is when the Alien
documentary is, so what this means is you have to stay up late with the telly
on Friday night going into the early hours of the following day, if that is
clear

Yes, there it is in the listings for Friday the 7th, although of course
technically it *is* showing on Saturday morning.

Okay, well I suppose I haven't seen the Radio times for several years or more
and not see a TV listing in a newspaper for even longer, so I am not used to
seeing information in the same light where it all becomes part of the same
night rather than being the very early hours of the following day. So now you
know where it is in your experience of your plans for the future, this is
