SHOCK IT TO ME! Returns to San Francisco
4th annual event will feature actor Sid Haig and a tribute to the
legendary Dark Shadows
http://shock-it-to-me.com/

San Francisco, October 17 & 18, 2008: SHOCK IT TO ME! is proud to add
cult actor Sid Haig to our gruesome celebrity guest line-up this year.

Mr. Sid Haig began his long career (over 50 films and 350 television
episodes) appearing in Jack Hill's Spider Baby. He is best known today
for his spine-chilling performance as the creepy, murderous clown
Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses and The
Devil’s Rejects (Mr. Haig will also be available for pre-show
interviews).

Also, in honor of the upcoming Tim Burton remake of the 1960s cult
series Dark Shadows, our celebrity guest line-up will include the
stars of the original series, Kathryn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans) and
Lara Parker (Angelique Bouchard).

Film historian Darren Gross will also be on hand to present a look at
the extensive restoration for the upcoming DVD release of Night of the
Dark Shadows.

This year’s festival will feature three terrifying double-features:

October 17th Jack Hill’s Spider Baby (6:30 PM) with George Romero’s
Night of the Living Dead (10 PM)
October 18th Terence Fisher’s Horror of Dracula (2 PM) with Curse of
Frankenstein (4 PM)
October 18th Dan Curtis’ Night of Dark Shadows (6:30 PM) with House
of Dark Shadows (9:30 PM)

Tickets are available at the Castro Theatre box office or through
ticketweb.com. Prices for each Double Feature are only $10.00 for
Adults and $7.00 for Children/Seniors. For more information visit:
http://www.castrotheatre.com/

All films are 35mm and projected on the Castro’s gigantic screen—the
last large single-screen theatre in San Francisco.
