Short suspense film

I hope someone can help me out w/ a title or even location for a short
film I recently only caught a bit of. A few weeks ago I was watching
AMC late at night when I caught the end of this seemingly creepy film.
What I saw was some lady talking on the phone w/ someone who was
telling her "the dog has got a finger in its mouth". No sooner had
the words come out and you see this crazed looking man coming out from
around a corner w/ a butcher's knife in hand. Then it ended. Pretty
creepy stuff made even more so b/c I only saw such a dramatic portion
of it. Does anyone know the name of this film or better yet if it can
be located on the net somewhere.

Any help is appreciated. Thanx.

If I'm not mistaken, I *think* this is a Stephen King story, which was in
one of his anthology books, and was filmed from that story...which I'm not
sure, but perhaps that's a lead for you.
