I've tried floppy rubber keyboards but find them tedious to use ,so I'm
looking for
a small keyboard or pad for alphanumeric notes entry.

PS2 preferable but USB is ok with a plug on adapter

Any leads please?

Regards

Mike

Mike,

Just around the corner from that Auckland location sound equipment shop
- can't quite remember its name ; - ) , there is a little computer
store on Symonds Street. Look in their window and you should find a
cheap asian brand short USB keyboard without a number pad for about
NZ$40. At that price I regard them as consumables. You can use them on
your knee and they will fit into the front pouch of a portabrace for
solo work. Tony and I used them in the mountains on 'The Lion the
Witch and the Other Thing' last year and didn't manage to break it - in
and out of back packs, choppers etc. It has survived other etreme
location environments, beaches, rain, snow numerous drops onto studio
floors and is still going strong.
Check it out.
Cheers, Malcolm

Nick:

Looks nice, but not available. Also, I'm not sure I want a keyboard any
smaller than the VIK. ;-)
