I just want to give a big thanks to Sound Devices for thier outstanding
customer service while upgrading my 442 to current specs & firmware.
They were very helpfull answering any questions I had and expedited the
uprade, cleaning, and replacement of fader pots very quickly. Great
Customer service from a great company !!!

No, it's not disgusting, it's valuable information. Not only that, it's even
signed by a real name!

Would you mind telling who you are.......?

The origuinal post was a bit gushy, but anyone with regular customer
service interactions will appreciate the difference in service between
companies like Sound Devices and organizations that deal with a larger
section of the public.

I was pleasantly suprised by a tripod manufacturer that kept parts on
hand for discontinued merchandise and charged a very reasonable anmount
of money to make sure I got what I needed quickly.
Contrast these situations with any bank or credit card company and you
will understand Mr. Lewis' happiness.

A lot of corporations we are beholden to on a daily basis could learn a
thing or two fron the folks at Sound Devices.

Good for you! I'm happy the people at Sounddevices could help you out,
I didn't expect anything else from them to be honest.
