use 1p coins - total cost = 12p !!

or if you're feeling flush, and fancy the 'urban' look, use 5p coins. bumps
the price up to 60p, though

No, I'm sorry, but the different density and metallurgy of the £2 coin makes
it the only choice, you can really hear the difference in ABX tests between
the £2 coin and the other British coins. £24 is the entry point into this
marketplace I'm afraid.

American coins may be used if you prefer a more "boom-tizz" sound, or danish
ones if midrange clarity is your aim.

No, I didn't actually. It was either Krugerrands or Sovereigns.

But then I realised that Sovereigns might attract a few more pikeys!

I use sovereigns. My centre speaker is currently balanced, albeit
somewhat precariously, on the Queens head!
