Uh, I think the point was, $800M would be the *minimum* prohibitive
salary a grudging Tobey would demand for being forced back into a 4 he
didn't want to do...
And Kirsten's would be larger than the gross national product of several
small European nations.

Kirsten's ego is larger than the size of several small European nations, but
she's easily expendable. I loved her quote in Entertainment Weekly that
audiences wouldn't accept Toby, Sam, or herself not returning <chuckle>.

They'd be better without her.

They come with Sam, and Sam's irreplaceable--
Official word, if he's out, they're out. And he's out.

Batman has gotten along without Adam West, Michael Keaton, and George
Clooney. Superman has gotten along without Steve Reeves and Steve
Reeve.
James Bond has gotten along without Sean Connery. Spiderman will get
along without Tobey and Kiki. >> Stay informed about: There will be no Spiderman 4 |

Superman has always gotten along without Steve Reeves. (I haven't seen
Steve Reeves confused with George Reeves in more than twenty years.
It's almost nostalgic.)
And how does somebody get Christopher Reeve's name wrong at this late
date? >> Stay informed about: There will be no Spiderman 4 |

I knew I shoulda gone to bed instead of making that last pass through
the news. I even looked up the Batmen, and still got the Supermen
wrong. >> Stay informed about: There will be no Spiderman 4 |

Audie Murphy's Ghost?! Now THAT'S a 'net handle if I ever saw one.
Every time I'm in DC I go to Arlington and salute your grave.
BTW, when you were alive your best movie IMO was "No Name on the
Bullet". Neat psychological thriller masquerading as an oater. As good
as it was, I wouldn't mind a modern, grittier remake if you have any
sway with people still in the industry. >> Stay informed about: There will be no Spiderman 4 |

Sam's not irreplacable. He's damn good: can't beat a guy who has some
respect for the material in the driver's seat, but on that note,
having done X-Men and Superman, Singer might like a go and would
probably do a decent job of it. Guillermo del Toro might work, as
well. we also still have to see what Le Frog is going to do with "The
Incredilble Hulk". He might serve, too. >> Stay informed about: There will be no Spiderman 4 |

Kinda funny you say that. One of the guns a lot of people like to draw
here to support their opinions is the ratings on the Rotten Tomatoes
website, and on their recent "Comix Movies, Best to Worst" list guess
what is #1.
Give up?
It's "Spider-Man 2"! (The first one came in at #4). >> Stay informed about: There will be no Spiderman 4 |

Clooney. Superman has gotten along without Steve Reeves and Steve

James Bond has gotten along without Sean Connery. Spiderman will get
