Does anyone know if the 1916 text of the book 'Charlie Chaplin's Own Story' is accessible anywhere
either on line or at a geographical location for reading?
The last copy I saw that came up for sale was priced at a ridiculous amount - and the 1980s version
of the book was 'abridged' which kinda reduced its importance.

The 1985 version is edited and annotated (wonderfully) by Harry Geduld, but it's
not abridged. >> Stay informed about: Charlie Chaplin's Own Story |

Does anyone know for sure, is it GED-uld or Ge-DULD or some other
variation I haven't considered? >> Stay informed about: Charlie Chaplin's Own Story |

As far as I recall it's the former. >> Stay informed about: Charlie Chaplin's Own Story |

That's weird.
What does 'editing' mean in this context if not 'abridged'? >> Stay informed about: Charlie Chaplin's Own Story |

GED-uld. He was my film teacher--the one who didn't claim that Chaplin was a
terrible dirctor.

Correcting (obvious printer's errors, etc.) and annotating.
