he should have been a massive star.
he even manages to steal the scene he appears in during robocop 3 - which is
otherwise awful.

the magic was my journey into the world of horror films!
example - after watching demons 1 and 2 i was inspired to seek out other
dario argento films - even though at the time i didnt realise he wasnt the
director of the demons series.
then i discovered some small ads in exchange and mart and tenebrae and
inferno were mine - complete with photocopied colour covers!

Same story here, but at Unit Four in Walkden, not America of course. >> Stay informed about: Street Trash (1987) |

The BBFC were generally quite relaxed about gore in comedy films. I
remember there being HELL ON in some circles when BAD TASTE was passed
uncut at a time when THE EXORCIST, THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE and the
uncut DAWN OF THE DEAD were all still being refused certificates.

nastiness.

Myself and a few friends went to the BAD TASTE premiere at the Prince Of
Wales cinema in Leceister Square.
As soon as it came out on Video, I bought a copy (and got a free t-shirt).
The video cost around £60, as was normal for new releases at the time.

I've got Street Trash on VHS. I bought it on a local market stall back in
the late 80's. I also picked up The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue
and City Of The Living Dead.

I missed out on this movie back when it was made and only lately have
discovered it (There is a terrific 2 disc DVD edition out now).
I love the film, it's very strange but I like strange sometimes.
The meltdown effects are cool, again, very strange but in a good way!
The things that you don't like about the movie are the things that
give the movie it's charm (to me).
I was very excited to have found this film and, I have heard that a
part 2 is coming! (Same people involved, not a remake)
