Hello Fred,
If you are just using one camera and the 744 there is no need for tri-
level or "beginning of frame genlock." If I can, I hard wire or send
continous tc. If I am in a situation jam syncing from a camera's
clock, I just make sure to re jam about every ten minutes.
The use of tri level or "HD genlock" in multi camera shoots is a
different issue and there is still no standard practice in that arena.
