Does anyone know if sheet music is available to Chaplin's theme from
THE KID (the same one that is used in UNKNOWN CHAPLIN). I believe it
was called "I Walk the Street". Was it published or is it solely
available from the estate?

I've never seen it published, but someone may know more than
I do.

If no answer turns up here, contact information for the estate is
posted on the official Chaplin website.

It occurs to me that no one has ever compiled a list of Chaplin's
published music. There are diskographies, but I've never seen a list
of sheet music.

I was actually in a music store in Pasadena California a few weeks ago and
there was a sheet music book of Chaplin compositions. While I don't
remember exactly what pieces were in the book it would be safe to assume
that the Kid theme should be in the book. I would suggest looking on Google
for Chaplin Sheet music books and then ordering one from the web

I have a book called _The Songs of Charlie Chaplin_, which may or may
not be what you saw. It was published by Bourne Music Co., which I
believe hax published some of its contents before. However, it does
not include the theme from _The Kid,_ or any other music from that
score.
